Place and Population Centred Workforce Planning™

Future proofing your workforce

 

Our workforce planning methodology (originally the Population Centric model) has been developed with our partners the NHS Transformation Unit.  Over the past 15 years, our methodologies have helped many clients to:

  • Engage staff, clinicians, community and others in the workforce planning process

  • Use place based data and information to understand the future needs for service delivery

  • Integrate workforce planning with strategy and local place plans to meet community needs

  • Experiment and be creative by developing new roles and challenging professional silo’s – integrated services across pathways and organisations, so that they are more effective and efficient 

We have also trained people to facilitate the methodology in their own teams and organisations, and this have covered most regions in England over the past 15 years.

Evaluation, Diagnostic and Review Services

Independent, professional and inclusive evaluation

 

We have supported many clients in reviews that have ranged from the short and sharp, through to in-depth multi-stakeholder evaluations.  

Our evaluation, diagnostic and review services are conducted using evidence based tools, with sensitivity of the human and political issues, and our ethos and approach is to include a wide range of staff, stakeholders and service users.  We have undertaken service reviews, impact assessments, programme evaluations, organisational diagnostics, team evaluations, stakeholder reviews and multi agency reviews.  Our methods are largely qualitative, including interviews, focus groups, discover interviews, observation – and we also conduct surveys.

We understand the importance of presenting our findings in a way that keeps our independence, yet allows the ideas and engagement of others to flow in the action plans and recommendations.
