Carol has over 30 years’ experience in the field of Early Years Education, in a variety of roles ranging from Nursery Nurse to OfSTED Inspector, and has worked for more than 20 years as an independent Early Years Consultant and facilitator.
Her consultancy includes supporting a range of Early Years settings and Local Authorities to develop and improve their teaching and leadership skills. As a lecturer in Further Education, Carol’s role included assuring the quality of qualification teaching and curriculum.
She is an associate trainer for key national training providers, and is involved in developing and delivering to practitioners and trainers, a number of Department for Education programmes, with the aim of improving the outcomes for parents and children.
Through her facilitative approach, Carol works with individuals and teams to reflect on their principles for practice, using this as a framework for identifying their own solutions to areas for development.
Her experience providing peer-to-peer and targeted support to a range of practitioners with various levels of confidence has enabled her to develop skills and expertise in drawing out key learning and in building upon people’s sense of agency in their abilities to take action and be effective.
Carol started the Post Graduate Certificate in Executive and Business Coaching in September 2017, and will be open for free coaching clients.
